Dr Chee Weiqin

Dr Chee is a Registered Specialist with the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. He heads Pet A&E, the Emergency and Critical Care department at LVS.
Dr Chee worked as a general practitioner in Singapore after graduating from the University of Sydney in 2014 . He then joined LVS as a surgical intern under Dr Landon's mentorship before heading to Murdoch University to pursue a residency in Emergency and Critical Care. During his residency, Dr Chee obtained both a clinical and research Masters with publications on the use of canine plasma transfusions. He passed his board examinations in 2022 and was working in a large referral practice in Western Australia, where he manages clinical cases and the training of the next generation of residents.
Dr Chee enjoys all aspects of critical care medicine such as sepsis, mechanical ventilation, and transfusion therapy.
When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his two Singapore Specials, Summer and Hobbes.
Dr Samantha Fong

Dr Samantha Fong obtained her degree from Murdoch University, Australia in 2013. She has since worked as a full-time veterinarian at referral clinics, honing her skills in emergency medicine and surgery.
In 2019, Dr Fong attained her Memberships in Emergency and Critical Care from the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, further increasing her capability to provide care to patients in critical conditions. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, wound management.
Dr Fong is committed to a high standard of practice and animal welfare, making her a great advocate for her patients. Outside of work, she finds balance in keeping fit and transforming ordinary ingredients into extraordinary dining experiences.
Dr Jayi Lim
BSc DVM
ECC Veterinarian

Dr Jayi graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia in 2021. Having grown up surrounded by pocket pets, cats and dogs, Dr Jayi developed an appreciation for the bond between humans and animals from an early age.
Her first year post-graduation was spent pursuing an Emergency and Critical Care Internship in one of Perth's busiest vet hospitals, and later on exploring small animal practice and canine reproduction work.
With a background in both general practice and emergency work, Dr Jayi strives to ensure that every pet receives the highest standard of care.
On her days off, Dr Jayi likes to lounge with her British Shorthair, Rufus, who has made his way to sunny Singapore from Down Under!
Dr Amber Eliathamby

From an early age, Dr Amber was captivated by biology and driven by a deep love for animals. After graduating from Murdoch University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, she began her veterinary journey in general practice, where she gained valuable experience across a wide range of cases. Over time, her passion for the dynamic and fast-paced nature of emergency care led her to transition into emergency medicine.
At home, Dr Amber has a soft spot for cats and shares her space with five lovely cats. When she's not caring for patients, she enjoys swimming, travelling to new destinations, and immersing herself in compelling fiction.
Dr Ho Yu Hui
BVSc (Queensland)
ECC Veterinarian

Dr Yu Hui graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014 and returned to Singapore, where she began her career in a busy small-animal general practice. Over the years, she developed a strong foundation in primary veterinary care before joining us in 2024 as a rotating intern. After completing the internship, she transitioned into her current role as an emergency veterinarian.
Caring for animals and helping the heal is what inspires Dr Yu Hui every day. She finds genuine joy in supporting her patients through recovery and being part of their journey back to health. While she doesn’t have any pets at the moment, her dedication to animal care remains at the heart of everything she does.
During her free time, Dr Yu Hui loves travelling to new places, singing and baking, which help her unwind and stay balanced.
Dr Summer Ha

ECC Veterinarian

Dr Summer completed her undergraduate degree at Western University in Canada before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Melbourne.
She is particularly moved by the recovery process, finding immense joy in the milestone moment when an unwell patient begins to eat on their own again, a sign of healing that she finds incredibly rewarding. Her devotion to animals extends far beyond the clinic walls as a dedicated foster parent, she has opened her home to many dogs and cats, including her most recent foster, Momo, who was rescued from a dog meat factory and successfully rehomed.
A day in the life outside work for Dr Summer would be to enjoy the art of the perfect brew, exploring new coffee beans and baking fresh cakes or cookies to share with friends.
Dr Alicia Yau

ECC Veterinarian

Dr Alicia embarked on her veterinary career graduating from the City University of Hong Kong. Her dedication to high standards is evident through her Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RVCS) certification. Additionally, she is RECOVER certified, showcasing her skills in advanced patient resuscitation and emergency care.
Dr Alicia keep motivated by the fulfilment she finds in helping animals in any way possible. This is achieved through the daily act of providing compassionate veterinary care, which provides her with a deep sense of purpose and personal satisfaction.
At home, she is kept company by her cat, Mimosa. During her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to good music, and enjoying good food.
Jane Tan Cert VN ECC; ESVPS Certificate in Western Acupuncture & Chronic Pain Management
Head ECC Veterinary Nurse
Jane has committed over ten years to the veterinary profession, and is passionate about upholding the highest standards of animal care and customer service. She was drawn to emergency medicine because of the fast-paced environment and problem-solving nature of the job, and holds a Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care.
Outside of work, Jane pursues her love for road cycling and dedicates a significant amount of time to reading, deepening her knowledge in veterinary medicine. She also cherishes quality time with her family and friends.


Amos Lai Dip Veterinary BioScience; BBus (Banking & Finance)
Veterinary Nurse
Amos spent two years as a veterinary technician before leaving the industry to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, at Nanyang Technological University.
Subsequently, he pursued a career as a Wealth Planning Manager, before deciding to follow his passion, which was to to re-join the veterinary industry as an ECC veterinary nurse at Pet A&E.
On his days off, Amos enjoys listening to music as well as an occasional chess game.

Lucas Ngia Dip Veterinary BioScience
Veterinary Nurse
Lucas joins Pet A&E while concurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity.
He brings with him experience from the general practice field, including client management, IV placement and caring for critical patients.
Aside from emergency and critical care, Lucas is particularly interested in the field of diagnostic imaging.
Lucas is a Swiftie and the proud owner of two pet terrapins named Teh and Peng.

Sarah Low BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science

Sarah worked in various practices after obtaining her Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice. She left the industry briefly to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science.
Post-graduation, Sarah joined Pet A&E to pursue a career in emergency and critical care. She enjoys the fast-paced environment and challenging cases that are seen by the ECC department.
Outside of work, Sarah is an avid gamer and enjoys taking care of her adopted cat, Dusty.
Beverly Aw Dip Marine Science and Aquaculture, Cert VN ECC
Veterinary Nurse
Beverly has been working in general veterinary practice since 2018, gaining broad experience with both companion animals and exotic pets.
She holds a Diploma in Marine Science and Aquaculture, as well as a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing (Emergency and Critical Care) from Vets Now UK. Beverly is passionate about providing attentive, compassionate care to every patient. Before joining Pet A&E, she spent several years in general practice and also gained experience with exotic species during a locum stint.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her rescued dog, Kiwi.


Miah Shekinah DVM
Veterinary Nurse
Miah worked as a Vet Nurse in one of the biggest hospitals in Metro manila before getting her Veterinary license. She then worked as a GP Vet for 2 years and 9 months. She also did volunteer work in low cost spays and vaccination program.
Miah enjoys encountering different cases each day at PET A+E provides memorable and fun experience for her. She takes satisfaction from helping fur-parents receive the best care for their pet family members.
When she's off work she enjoys taking long walks in natural habitats appreciating the beauty and peace of nature. She also enjoys K-drama and K-pop. She avidly looks to further her education as well so she can be the best at what she does
Raya Ganaban BFA (Hons), Cert IV Veterinary Nursing
Veterinary Nurse
Raya has been a dedicated presence in general veterinary practice, caring for companion animals with a gentle and focused touch since 2021. With an Honours degree in Fine Arts from LASALLE, she applies her sharp observational skills and creativity to ensure every patient’s treatment journey is as comfortable as possible.
Raya finds the most fulfilment in the quiet moments of nursing care, building trust with anxious patients and providing the extra support they need to feel at ease during recovery. She thrives in the fast-paced hospital environment, maintaining a calm demeanour that both pets and owners appreciate.
Outside of work, Raya is a lover of the arts, frequently spending her time at workshops, exhibitions, and live music, or traveling to find her next inspiration.
