Veterinary Dermatology Services

CT
Our 32-slice CT scanner allows for cross-sectional imaging of skeletal, vascular and soft tissue structures within minutes. This allows for rapid and accurate diagnoses in a minimally-invasive manner. Sedation or general anasethesia is required for the procedure.

CO2 Laser Procedure
VetScalpel’s CO₂ laser dermatology procedure offers precise, minimally invasive treatment for skin conditions, reducing bleeding, pain, and swelling while promoting faster healing and improved comfort for veterinary patients.

Video Otoscopy
Our specialist video-otoscopy unit enables detailed examination, deep ear cleaning, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of chronic otitis, improving outcomes and reducing the need for invasive ear surgery.

Intradermal Allergy Testing & Diagnostics
Intradermal allergy testing by vets identifies specific allergens causing reactions in pets. It involves injecting small amounts under the skin to diagnose environmental allergies and guide effective treatment plans.

Phovia Photobioluminesence Therapy
Phovia light therapy treats various skin conditions in pets, reduces antibiotic use, supports antimicrobial stewardship, promotes healing, and is for dogs, cats, rabbits.

Dr Carly Mason

Dr Carly Mason graduated from the University of Bristol Veterinary School in 2003. She spent 7 enjoyable years in General practice before completing a residency and achieving the ECVD Veterinary Dermatology Diploma qualification in 2014. She is currently Double-boarded as an RCVS and EBVS recognised Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology
Dr Carly has spent the last 10 years running specialist veterinary dermatology services in both independent and corporate practices, and for the charity Guide dogs (South East UK). Carly was a visiting lecturer at the University of Surrey Veterinary School and is currently an examiner for the University of Liverpool post graduate CertAVP Dermatology qualification.
Carly enjoys all aspects of veterinary dermatology work and has a particular interest in autoimmune skin diseases, allergic skin disease and video otoscopy for otitis cases. Carly is an experienced VetScalpel CO2 laser surgeon and is looking forward to opening Singapore's first CO2 laser surgery service for Veterinary patients at Landon Veterinary Specialists. She will be offering intradermal allergy testing testing and video otoscopy for otitis cases too.
