Veterinary Nurse -  Dermatology 

Skin diseases afflicting pets are common and can be caused by fleas, ticks, allergies, bacterial and yeast infections, environmental exposures and more. They are often chronic and long-term in nature, which put the pets and their owners in prolonged distress. Unfortunately, they can be easily overlooked and advanced to a serious stage before the case reaches a specialist.

 

Come and join our Dermatology team, led by a Board-certified Veterinary Dermatology Specialist, and participate in designing the treatment protocols, from history and sampling to diet and treatment; and more. You can also play a part in educating pet owners on spotting symptoms, post-hospital treatments and care at home.

 

What Do You Have

• At least 2 years of veterinary nursing experience, with animal handling skills

• Dermatology experience is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided

• Good time management skills

• Willingness to learn, with a strong work ethic and a team-player

• Compassion and willingness to put patient care first

• Brilliant client communication skills, both written and spoken
